Malcolm Dome, uno de los grandes pioneros del periodismo musical de rock y metal que trabajó con periódicos británicos como Record Mirror, Metal Fury, Kerrang!, RAW, Metal Forces, Classic Rock, Prog, Metal Hammer y Louder, falleció a la edad de 66 años años.
Como recordamos, Malcolm Es autor del libro “Enciclopedia Metallica”, publicado por primera vez en 1981, y de numerosos libros sobre bandas como AC / DC, METALLICA, LED ZEPPELIN y muchos otros. También es el inventor del término “thrash metal”, que acuñó en 1984 en un artículo de Kerrang! en el que habló sobre la pista de ANTHRAX “Metal Thrashing Mad”.
Malcolm ha formado parte también de innumerables documentales y reportajes sobre el Metal. Dome entrevistó durante toda su vida a una infinita lista de bandas de Metal y fue una de las personas que más promovió la escena Thrash Metal en el mundo entero. Bandas como Metallica lo recuerdan de la mejor forma.
