Sobre este sencillo, Rane comentó: “Coinciding with the album release, we are also launching a video for ‘Even Closer’. The little story woven into the album begins with this track; the sun starts to shine, and colors begin to emerge”. Por su parte, Jukka añadió: “‘Even Closer’ is the album’s ballad — or at least something close to one. Sometimes there are bad days and tough times, and the clouds in the sky just won’t clear, but faith in a better future remains, and perhaps someone is waiting there, too. The video, complete with lyrics, leaves room for the listener’s own interpretation, so it’s definitely worth watching”!
Al respecto, Rane señaló: “We are truly excited about the release of our new album! It didn’t come together without a lot of hard work, and it’s exciting to see what kind of reception it will receive. Thanks also to Astral Haven Records for believing in us, they’ve done a fantastic job with the marketing and our videos”. Asimismo, Jukka destacó la importancia del formato físico: “Finally, the album is out! Many people don’t realize just how big and how long a project this has been. These days, it’s common to release only singles, which is why I’m so proud of our work – especially since it’s available in physical format. Of course, our dream is to release it on vinyl as well. Nine of the best Rhino Proof tracks ever”!
El repertorio incluye temas como “Play by the Rules”, “Deeper Form de Love”, “Alone With My Sin”, “Even Closer”, “My Life is Fine”, el tema bonus del CD “Fashion Nonsense”, “Strong Enough”, “Shadows in the Rain” y “Safe Cracker”.
