Los merodeadores del metal vikingo sueco, AMON AMARTH, continúan su dominio con un nuevo video musical para su épica canción de la fiesta de Valhalla “Heidrun” de su exitoso álbum “The Great Heathen Army”. Además, AMON AMARTH ha lanzado un sencillo digital especial de 4 pistas de “Heidrun” que incluye una versión recién remezclada del sencillo más dos pistas en vivo de bonificación y una versión “goat remix” que incluye voces de cabra reales.
El líder Johan Hegg arroja luz sobre la importancia mitológica de “Heidrun”:
“Heidrun es un personaje mitológico interesante, es una cabra que está en el tejado de Valhalla comiendo la hoja del gran árbol Lärad. La leche que da es la miel/hidromiel que los guerreros en Valhalla beben cada noche. La letra misma trata tanto de los vikingos viajando por el mundo como metafóricamente de lo que es ser un músico en gira.”
