Alissa White-Gluz, vocalista de Arch Enemy, ha compartido un gran mensaje en redes sociales con todos sus seguidores, con el motivo de alzar su voz en el día internacional de la mujer, una fecha muy importante para ella y para todas las mujeres del mundo.

Su mensaje fue: ¡Día Internacional de la Mujer!

Como algunos de ustedes (los #Beastlings) saben, me he encerrado en el bosque por un rato y la introspección es REAL.

No voy a entrar en detalles sobre eso, pero diré que le debo mucho de lo que soy a las poderosas y sorprendentes mujeres de mi vida que me han dado las herramientas para ser tan diferentes y confiables, para nunca desviarme de mis pasiones y hacer «el trabajo de un hombre» para vivir sin NUNCA dudar de mí misma.

La idea de que no puedo hacer algo nunca se me pasa por la mente. Sé que puedo hacer lo que me proponga, y tú también puedes. Por favor recuerda eso.

Mi madre, mi hermana y muchas más son las bases de quién soy y en quién me estoy convirtiendo. Se siente realmente bien pensar que he evolucionado lo suficiente como para saber que podría enseñarle a mi yo más joven una o dos cosas.

POSIBLEMENTE no pueda etiquetar a todas las mujeres que amo y admiro en esta publicación, así que, por favor, ayúdenme.

= International Women’s Day! As some of you (the #Beastlings) know, I’ve locked myself away in the woods for the past little while and the introspection is REAL. I won’t get into details about that but I will say that I owe so much of who I am to the powerful, amazing women in my life who have given me the tools to be so confidently different, to never divert from my passions and to do “a man’s job” for a living without EVER second-guessing myself. The thought that I can’t do something never crosses my mind. I know I can do whatever I set my mind to – and you can, too. Please remember that. My mom, my sister and so many more are the foundations of who I am and who I am becoming. It feels really good to think that I have evolved enough so far to know I could teach my younger self a thing or two. I can’t POSSIBLY tag all the women I love and admire in this post so please help me out – tag the women you care about and thank them! .
